Skip bins take almost anything that will fit into them.

However, for environmental reasons, certain items attract a surcharge, or, should be disposed of seperately. These include:

PLEASE NOTE - if these items are discovered in the bin, the skip bin supplier will face a significant surcharge (which will vary item to item) which in turn, they will pass on to you, the customer.

Assessing the amount is the harder part...

We recommend comparing to a large council disposal bin, which is typically 240l.

Approximately 4 of these bins, is equivalent to 1 cubic meter.

So, for example, if you estimate you have 8 bins worth of rubbish, you would have the equivalent of 2 cubic meters.

Now, you can hire a 2 cubic meter bin.

However, if the bin is placed on public property (i.e. a nature strip or road), you may need to obtain a council permit first.

To check whether you need a permit, contact your local council.

Alternately, we can obtain a permit on your behalf for an admin fee of $35 in addition the cost of the permit, as set by your council.

Typically, 80-85% of materials removed are recycled once they reach the transfer stations.

Transfer stations are where your rubbish is taken once it is removed from your site. Think of them as giant sorting centres, where rubbish is turned into recycling, sold on or, what left, put into landfill.

We cannot offer exact delivery times for several reasons:

Firstly, to keep travel and therefore prices down, our supply partners organise their day around delivering clusters of bins in an area.

This would make delivering individual bins at certain time frames costly and difficult.

For this reason, we give a delivery 'window', which we believe strikes the best balance between price and service.

However, should you have reasons for needing a specific time, our suppliers will be happy to oblige (given sufficient notice) for an additional charge.
